Anna joined the Graduate Group in Ancient History in 2025. She graduated from Brown University in 2023 with a B.A. in Classics on the Greek and Latin Track, and wrote an honors thesis which explored how Philo of Alexandria and Josephus used dreams and prophecy as a framework for discussing political power and Roman rule. She completed a Fulbright English Teaching Fellowship in Greece, where she worked in the library at Athens College/Hellenic-American Educational Foundation. Her research interests focus on the socio-political and cultural position of the Jewish people in antiquity, particularly interactions, influence, and conflict with empire in the Graeco-Roman world.
