Sponsored by: Penn Museum
What we wear has meaning. Our clothing, accessories, and body modifications communicate important information about who we are, what we do, and what we believe. Join us for the Penn Museum’s largest student event of the year: The Stories We Wear Penn Student Gala. The spectacular array of jewelry, uniforms, regalia, and more tell stories spanning 2,500 years of human history, from athletes in the ancient Mediterranean to tattoos in the 19th century Borneo. Come celebrate this exhibition preview before the public opening, with FREE food, a professional photobooth, student-led tours and activities, and a cash bar for all participants 21 and over. Students are encouraged to wear their own story, as they reflect on the stories we wear.
FREE to ALL Penn Students! Must bring PennCard.
Come EARLY - all offerings are first come, first serve:
Mask making from 7:00-8:00pm
